MOLDOVAN GOVERNMENT TO APPOINT NEW CONSTITUTIONAL COURT JUDGE

The Moldovan Government announced a contest for the post of a Constitutional Court judge. Documents may be submitted till April 27, at 17:00.

Candidates should have clean slate, education in the field of national legal system and international public rights, as well as experience in the field of jurisprudence.

The contest is announced due to the fact that the mandate of CC Chairman Alexandru Tanase expired on April 14. According to the legislation, he will continue fulfilling his duties until new judge adjuration. Alexandru Tanase was appointed as CC Chairman in April 2011 for a period of 6 years. After appointing a new member, judges will have to choose a new Chairman.
