"I expressed my high assessment of his personal participation in the development of Moldova-Poland relations, of his contribution to the realization of many projects, particularly in the social field. I spoke out for further invigoration of trade and economic cooperation between our countries. I am convinced that there is a vast and yet unused potential for building up Polish investments into our country", Igor Dodon wrote on his Facebook page.

On Monday, the Ambassadors of European Union countries working in Moldova said their cordial goodbye to Artur Michalski and to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Moldova, Matyas Szilagyi, who is also completing his diplomatic mission here.

Ambassador Pirkka Tapiola, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, wrote in the Facebook that it was the last weekly meeting of EU Ambassadors that was attended by the departing Ambassadors of Poland and Hungary.

And in September, Moldova will say goodbye to Pirkka Tapiola himself and to the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Moldova, Robert Kirnag.

All of the above-mentioned diplomats have demonstrated very active and efficient work, have realized many important projects in Moldova, and indeed deserve the Republic of Moldova's high state awards.
