ROMANIAN PREMIER CONVEYS HIS COUNTRY'S SUPPORT FOR MOLDOVAN AUTHORITIES

24 july, 2017

"My visit to Chisinau is a public stating of Romania's support for the policy waged by the incumbent Moldovan authorities", Mihai Tudose stated in Chisinau on Friday.

Summing up to the press the results of his meeting with Moldovan Prime Minister Pavel Filip, Mihai Tudose said that European reforms in Moldova were taking much pain to implement, but now they are already giving fruits.

Pavel Filip thanked the Government of Romania for the financial assistance rendered to Moldova, which has permitted to build new kindergartens, reconstruct the National Mother and Child Center in Chisinau, improve road infrastructure etc.

"Relations between the Republic of Moldova and Romania are more than just neighbor relations. The two countries are linked with a common history, culture and language - linked spiritually. And irrespective of politicians, these relations will never change", stated the Moldovan Premier.

On Friday, Mihai Tudose presented to Moldova 96 school buses within the framework of the Agreement on assistance to the Moldovan education sector. The buses will be distributed among provincial schools.
