MOLDOVAN, ROMANIAN UNIONIST ORGANIZATIONS TO JOIN EFFORTS WITHIN AN ALLIANCE

18 august, 2017

About 100 nongovernmental organizations of Moldova, Romania and foreign Diaspora, which stand for the unification of Moldova and Romania, intend to create an Alliance of the Century and elaborate a single action plan in 2018.

According to the unionist platform “Actiunea’2012”, which is one of the project initiators, a concrete talk about this will be held in Bucharest on Sunday, August 20, on the margin of the conference “Centenary of the Great Unification of Romania and Bessarabia” in the Romanian Parliament.

“The 2018 will become a crucial year in the issue of Romania re-unification and we should join our forces. The 100th anniversary will be incomplete without Bessarabia – the first province, re-united with its motherland, – thus we have nothing to celebrate until we elaborate a clear national project concerning the returning of Bessarabia in Romania”, organizers maintain.

Members of the to-be-created Alliance promise mutual support to one another for implementing cultural or social projects of unionist character.

Infotag’s dossier: Most of Moldovan citizens stand for independent development of Moldova. President Igor Dodon also set as one of the main goals the preserving of Moldovan statehood. He does not accept and condemns Unionists’ ideas.
