​ PRESIDENT DODON IS A PART OF ‘PLAHOTNIUC LTD’ – RENATO USATII

Moldovan President Igor Dodon, remaining a de-facto leader of the Party of Socialists, is a component of the ‘Plahotniuc Ltd’ created by the almighty coordinator of ruling coalition in Moldova, head of the governing Democratic Party Vlad Plahotniuc, Renato Usatii, Partidul Nostru [Our Party] leader and the Mayor of Balti city, stated in an interview with Radio Free Europe.

Usatii, who has been hiding in Moscow from what he calls “the Plahotniuc justice of Moldova” since August 2016, regards Dodon to be a really convenient president having no plenary powers at one moment or too many powers at another moment.

“When it is necessary to give a life-long status of a judge to an obedient servant of Plahotniuc’s, the president readily offers his powers for this, but in other instances he says he has no authority. I know very well that they have two plans on their mind, which they agreed upon yet last February”, said Renato Usatii.

“We agreed that I would be nominated as Secretary of the Supreme Security Council. But if I don't come, Dodon would give this post to excellent, experienced lawyer Elena Gritco [Our Party Deputy Chairperson], who headed a Department in the Ministry of Justice in a recent past. So, how do you think acted Dodon? He assured emphatically: “OK, Renato, that’s a deal. In three months’ time we will bring thousands out into streets, including the Right-wing opposition, and Plahotniuc will either flee away from the country or we will put him into jail for the rest of his life””, said the OP leader.

He reminded that upon Dodon’s returning home from Moscow [where he held a long discussion with Usatii], Vlad Plahotniuc withdrew the Information and Security Service and the Prosecution Service from the list of presidential plenary powers.

“In plainer words, Dodon surrendered practically all his positions – not indeed disinterestedly, I am sure. And then he told Plahotniuc: “Let’s revise urgently the Law on the Supreme Security Council Leadership because Elena Gritco may come soon and we will be not able to bargain with her. We will have problem with her”. So, shortly after Dodon had become president, they quickly railroaded that combination through parliament (you can easily find this entire information), having changed the conditions of appointing to this post in a way that the essential post will now be available only to candidates having a 5-year experience of service in power agencies, who have never been a member of whatever political party, and have not run whatever political activities over last 10 years. Dodon has simply bitched us all”, said Renato Usatii, calling Igor Dodon “a political thief”.
