COMMUNISTS PROPOSE TO INSTITUTE "ORDER OF JUDAS" FOR DEMOCRAT DIACOV

"The first Knight of the Order of Judas (Grade 1) must be Dumitru Diacov [the Honorable Chairman of the Democratic Party] - in the aggregate of the unprecedented number of betrayals committed throughout his political career", it is believed in the opposition Moldovan Communist Party (MCP).

The Party stood up with such Statement after Diacov, at the working meeting of a profiled parliamentary standing committee earlier this week, voted for the much-argued bill on Constitution amending to rename Moldova's official language from Moldovan into Romanian.

"In 2014, a scandal broke out in the Moldovan Parliament upon finding out that an Agreement, concluded with Brazil, said that the document was made in the Moldovan language. Diacov stated then that a majority of the Moldovan population say they speak Moldovan, and that this can be easily proved through a referendum. Now, only 3 years later, this very Diacov votes for writing "the Romanian language" in the Constitution", said the MCP Statement.

The Communists also reminded: "Diacov betrayed Moldova's 2nd President Petru Lucinschi [January 1997 - April 2001] who brought him into big politics. He betrayed his recent political colleagues who had tried to make a statesman of him. He had betrayed his electorate by betraying his political party and joined the organization that personifies a corruption regime of usurpers in Moldova. And this week, Diacov betrayed the nation he belongs, its national identity and its historic memory. As a matter of fact, Dumitru Diacov has betrayed his Motherland and his parents".
