DRAFT RESOLUTION ON VOTE OF NO CONFIDENCE IN HEALTH MINISTER TO BE DISCUSSED ON MARCH 30

The Parliament Permanent Bureau decided to hear the draft resolution on the vote of no confidence in Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Svetlana Cebotari on March 30. The initiative was proposed by the Party of Socialists.

Speaker of the Parliament Andrian Candu said to journalists after the sitting that the bureau approved the plenary meeting agenda for March 22-23.

On Thursday, MPs will discuss the draft concerning the building of the Ungheni-Chisinau gas pipeline, the introduction of amendments in the Law on Veterans, in the Contravention Code and the Penal Procedure Code, as well as MPs will have to ratify the World Post Convention and additional protocol to it.

On Friday, MPs will consider a draft law directed to the implementation of the project on building a cultural and sport arena in Chisinau. The document implies the transferring of the agricultural land for building the new complex. For this, a land plot of 69 hectares in the territory of the National College for Viticulture and Winemaking in Chisinau suburban community of Stauceni will be transmitted to the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sciences.

Also, the Parliament has to approve the Civil Society Development Strategy 2018-2020 and the Action Plan on its implementation, as well as to hear the 2017 report on the Audiovisual Coordinating Council activities.
