DP PROPOSES SOLUTION FOR WASTE DISPOSAL IN BALTI

The Democratic Party developed a solution for resolving the problem of waste removal in Balti, said DP leader Vladimir Plahotniuc at the Tuesday’s briefing.

He explained that it is about the expropriation of the landfill from the economic agent that is holding it.

“The landfill is located between the villages Bilicenii Noi and Tambula. The latter’s mayor is representative of Our Party [OP, Partidul Nostru], just as the Balti governor is. Thus, it would be correct to transmit this territory under the jurisdiction of Tambula authorities and stop speculations. The Government can do this. The DP, even if it does not cooperate with the OP, believes that in such a crisis situation the politics should be left aside”, the ruling coalition coordinator maintains.

He reminded that in December, at the demand of Balti primaria, the Government has once intervened and helped removing the accumulated waste, expecting from local authorities that they will later resolve the problem by themselves,

“After transmitting the polygon, Balti authorities will have all the conditions for resolving the household waste crisis. If they fail even after this, well, it will be like in the saying: “A bad workman blames his tools”, he said.
