PRESIDENT DODON FLIES HOME ON HIS BIRTHDAY
On his 44th birthday on Monday, Moldova President Igor Dodon flew from Moscow to Chisinau so as "to receive congratulations on Monday afternoon". Dodon made a stop in the Russian capital on his way home from the Munich Security Conference.
The presidential press service has reported that congratulations are coming from many countries.
"President Vladimir Putin and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, as well as His Holiness Kirill, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, were among the first ones to congratulate President Dodon. In his message President Putin confirmed "readiness to continue dialog and a constructive joint work to develop mutually beneficial Russia-Moldova cooperation in all spheres for the good of the peoples of our countries"", wrote the press service.
President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping wrote that a steady development trend can presently be observed in Chisinau-Moldova relations, and bilateral cooperation is advancing step by step.
"I highly appreciate the development of the bilateral relations, and I am ready to make efforts, together with you, for a continuous achieving of new results in the friendly cooperation between our countries for the good of our peoples", President Xi Jinping wrote in his congratulatory telegram.
