PRIME MINISTER PRESENTS THREE CONDITIONS FOR DIALOG WITH DP

11 june, 2019

Prime Minister, Chairwoman of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS) Maia Sandu announced conditions in which dialog between parliamentary parties, on which the Democratic Party insists, is possible.

At the Tuesday’s briefing, Sandu said that the DP must unblock the state institutions to ensure legal authorities’ access to workplaces; Democrats must take away the aggressive crowd from state institutions and remove tents, as well as must stop pressurizing public officials and Moldovan citizens.

“So far, the proposals of the parliamentary opposition, which dares acting illegally and rudely, demonstrates the DP’s reluctance to act on the basis of legal norms and reminds the attempt of coup d’etat”, the premier said.

She also said that after the fulfillment of conditions, the dialog may take place, but only in the Parliament – the country’s legislative body.

“We do not accept secret negotiations Democrats are used to. Let DP deputies come to the sitting and work, as citizens voted for this”, Sandu said.

She again urged all the public officials to ignore the regime’s orders, as the country has a legal Government which will ensure normal work of all the institutions.
