OP LEADER NAMES PSRM A PARTY OF LIARS

Renato Usatii, leader of the Partidul Nostru (Our Party, OP), who is now running for Mayor of Balti, the country’s second-largest city, has named the Party of Socialists “a party of greatest-possible liars”.

In his video address from Moscow, Usatii further stated that the party’s de-facto leader Igor Dodon “is busy blackening my political image”.

Renato Usatii drew attention to the Socialist leaders’ voyages to Balti, which are becoming increasingly frequent as the elections are approaching.

“President Dodon frequents the city as well, and gives orders and instruction at the PSRM Balti Office. We will see their propaganda results on October 20”, said the politician.

In 2015, Renato Usatii won a mayoral election in Balti already in the first round of voting, having polled over 72%. He is going to repeat that success on October 20 as well.

Usatii asked the Socialists-controlled media outlets to “stop pouring slops on me and Our Party”.

“Presently, torrents of lies and abuse are being poured on me and on OP by the Socialists’ mass media. A great number of garbage websites are writing that Usatii has come back to Moldova allegedly to take Plahotniuc’s place, that Usatii is afraid of going to Moscow for he fears the Russian Ministry of the Interior. Let me explain once again: there are no criminal litigations against me initiated in Russia. On the contrary, I was told in Moscow that Igor Dodon visits all levels of the Russian Federation leadership, claiming that it is necessary to initial proceedings against Usatii. Well, gentlemen, stop bothering Moscow with your lamenting, and stop manufacturing fake news”, stated Renato Usatii, naming President Dodon “a new Plahotniuc, acting against me in Moldova as well as abroad”.

Usatii accused his election rival for the Balti mayorship, Socialist Alexander Nesterovsky, of imitating a television spot of incumbent President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenskii, and stated: “Nesterovsky is nobody named Mr. No One”.
