PSRM FACTION LEADER: FOREIGN ASSISTANCE SHOULDN’T BE POLITICIZED BUT HELP CITIZENS

29 may, 2020

Chairman of the PSRM parliamentary faction Corneliu Furculita believes that the issue of receiving foreign aid by Moldova should not be politicized as it is intended for citizens.

Commenting on the opposition’s speculations about EU financial assistance to Moldova, he wrote in social networks that the Moldovan Government is in constant contact with the EU.

“The Government claims that the deadlines on which the opposition speculates haven’t been violated. Everyone understands that by speculating the opposition lays down a smoke screen to hide their blocked 200-million-euros loan from Russia”, he wrote in the post.

“If they had blocked the money from Russia, then 100 million euros or 2 billion lei would have already been in the budget”, Furculita wrote, expressing hope that Moldova will receive support from both the East and the West.
