PRESIDENT SANDU WILL CHAIR MEETINGS OF COMMISSION FOR EUROPEAN INTEGRATION AND OF SUPREME SECURITY COUNCIL

Later on Thursday, Moldovan President Maia Sandu will convene the meetings of the governmental Commission for European Integration and of the Supreme Security Council (SSC), the presidential press service reported.

The Commission meeting will discuss the challenges related to the provision of energy resources to the country. The Commission members will assess the progress made in the implementation of the Action Plan in the context of granting Moldova the status of an EU candidate country. The priorities of European integration for the next period will also be discussed.

And the Supreme Security Council will also tackle energy challenges, the press service said.
