​ANTIMAFIE MOVEMENT STARTS INFORMATION CAMPAIGN AGAINST MOLDOVAN DEPUTIES AND MINISTERS

In August, the Antimafie movement is starting a country-wide information campaign against officials, awarded with medals and decorations “for achievements in the process of European Integration”.

Antimafia Chairman Sergiu Mocanu said on Wednesday during picketing of the President residency that members and supporters of the movement intended to install a tent in front of the residency and distribute to the passers newspapers with the information about the President giving highest state awards to the main thieves of the country.

“During three days, the police tried to hinder us to install the tent. The Antimafia members decided not to resist law enforcement, thus the installing and protest in front of residence are canceled. More efficient will be conducting campaign, as the population will learn many new things”, said Mocanu.

He mentioned the campaign will be also directed “against the major thief of the country Vlad Plahotniuc, who intends to lay his hands on Moldtelecom Company”

Antimafia Chairman believes that Plahotniuc tried to obstruct them, for example to take measures that the press conferences, held by the movement, not to be broadcasted by the media.

“But, during the authorities’ vacation, measures on denunciation will be carried out against them and all the information will be made public. We also intend to apply to the State Chancellery with demand to provide the population with possibility to assist at awarding thieves. This should be done publicly”, said Mocanu
