​POLICE ARRESTS FOREIGNERS WHO TRAFFICKED MOLDOVAN WOMEN ABROAD FOR PROSTITUTION

Criminal group was discovered, which was engaged in recruiting and taking out young women from Moldova to Czech Republic for providing sexual services.

The head of the group, 47-year-old German is also owner of a night club in Czech Republic. He was helped by 33-year-old woman from Romania and 44-year-old man from Czech Republic.

According to the General Police Inspectorate press release, the suspects came to Moldova to recruit young women via newspaper advertisements like: “Escort services in night club in Czech Republic. Salary - from 3 thousand to 10 thousand euros”. Members of the criminal group were drawing up all the necessary documents for victims’ traveling abroad and were covering all the expenses. According to the police, in August suspects recruited a Moldovan woman and sent her to Rozvadov city in the Czech Republic. In a few days, they were planning to take out of the country another woman, but were arrested in Chisinau.

Currently the suspects are under arrest for 15 days and a criminal case has been started against them. If pleaded guilty, they may get up to 15 years.
