​YOUNG MAN DIED IN MOTORCYCLE COLLISION WITH CAR

A young man died on Thursday in a traffic accident in Cahul raion, informed Deputy Head of the Cahul Police Inspectorate Ion Rosca.

According to him, a BMW car hit a motorcycle from behind. Motorcycle passenger aged 17 died on the spot. 36-year-old motorcycle driver was hospitalized with a brain injury, concussion and fractured leg. They had no protective equipment on them at the moment of accident.

The car was driven by National Patrol Inspection employee. The police are investigating causes of the accident and identifying those guilty. If the patrol inspector is found guilty, he faces from 3 to 7 years.
