​MOLDOVAN MILITARY TAKING PART IN NATO EXERCISE IN TURKEY

Officers from the constitutionally neutral Republic of Moldova are taking part in the Regex-14 military exercise being held in Turkey under NATO’s auspices.

The scheduled regional maneuvers have gathered in Turkey the representatives of the armed forces from 12 NATO member countries and NATO partner countries.

The exercise involves 84 Turkish military and 48 representatives from Azerbaijan, Macedonia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Serbia, Moldova, Jordan, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Mauritania, Algeria and Pakistan.

From NATO’s behalf, support to the exercise, to last until October 24, is rendered by the NATO united command in Naples. Its participants are training joint actions at regional level.
