​BEAUJOLAIS NOUVEAU FESTIVAL OF NEW FRENCH WINE HELD IN MOLDOVA

The festival of New French Wine was celebrated in a warm and friendly atmosphere on Thursday night, organized by the France-Moldova Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI).

Its President Emmanuel Skoulios said that new French wine each year has a special taste and special flavor variations.

He has warmly welcomed his colleagues – Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Moldova Valeriu Lazar and Deputy President of the Transnistrian CCI Iurie Ganin, without hiding satisfaction that they are partners, while Chambers are cooperating.

Moldovan Deputy Minister of Economy Tudor Copaci wished to France and Moldova successes in development of the traditional for them sector of economy – viticulture and winemaking, noting rather ironically that small Moldova is not a competitor in to big France this sphere.

Pascal Vagogne, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of France to Moldova, told to guests that in France, the festival of new wine is already like a national holiday, which has long gone far beyond France. According to the diplomat, this holiday is somehow similar to the National Wine Day in Moldova, celebrated each year in October.

Beaujolais nouveau – new wine, is not the most quality wine in France, but it has already become a symbol of the country, it is easily recognizable by everyone, its quality is confirmed by everyone, said the French Ambassador.
