​AGEPI AND TEMPUS PROJECT SIGN COOPERATION AGREEMENT

The State Agency on Intellectual Property and Moldovan partners of the Tempus Project “Technological Transfer Network” (Tempus TecTNet) signed a cooperation agreement.

According to the AGEPI press release, the agreement is aimed at long-term cooperation in the field of innovations and technologies exchange, as well as creation of a legislative basis for cooperation within the EU Program on Scientific Research and Innovations “Orizont 2020” and the Program for small and medium-sized enterprises 2014-2020 (COSME).

The signing of the agreement was attended by Tempus TecTNet representatives from Moldova and the EU, as well as AGEPI Director Octavian Apostol and Head of the Department for International Cooperation and European Integration Liliana Vieru.

During negotiations, the AGEPI Director informed participants about the mechanism of supporting patenting abroad, elaborated by the Agency and approved by the Government. With the help of this mechanism, Moldovan inventors can get financial assistance for registering their inventions in other countries.

Infotag’s dossier: The Tempus TecTNet project was implemented by a consortium of 11 partners from Moldova and the EU and directed to creation and development of a platform for viable innovations in local universities by means of creating efficient networks of sharing technologies.
