​JAPAN TO PROVIDE US$400 THOUSAND TO MOLDOVA FOR SECURITY PROJECTS

The Japanese Government will provide US$444.2 thousand for financing projects within the Kusanone Grant Program for Human Security.

The Japanese Embassy to Chisinau, the signing of six contracts, selected by this country’s Foreign Ministry for implementing, will take place on March 2.

These are projects of modernizing Briceni raion hospital (around US$80 thousand); allergology and immunology laboratory of the Nicolae Testemitanu State Medical University (US$83 thousand); Institute of Cardiology (US$82.6 thousand); Sf. Arhangel Mihail Municipal Clinical Hospital (US$82.3 thousand); system of heating in Tudor Zanet lyceum in Congaz village (US$73.5 thousand), sanitation systems in Ghidighici village (US$42.8 thousand).

The Kusanone Program is implemented in Moldova since 2008 and since then, the Japanese Government financed it within 38 projects with total worth of US$3.3 million in the field of public health and education.
