​ANRE ESTABLISHES RECORD LOW FUEL PRICES YEAR TO DATE

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has lowered on Tuesday the price ceiling on gasoline and diesel – by 0.55 lei (3.4%) and by 0.35 lei (2.6%), respectively. This is the second lowering since the beginning of June. The lowering of fuel prices was due to the strengthening of the Moldovan leu and depreciation of world petroleum prices. New prices will enter into force on Wednesday and will be valid for next two weeks – until July 11. The maximum retail price on gasoline Premium-95 fell to 16.02 lei per liter, while on diesel – fell to 13.61 lei.
