MOLDOVAN CITIZENS WORKING IN TURKEY MAY RELY ON PENSION

Moldovan citizens who were or are officially employed in Turkey may be receiving pension from the Government of this country. A corresponding bilateral agreement was ratified by Moldova at the Parliament sitting on Friday. The document implies guarantees of social insurance for migrants from Moldova, who are living or/and working in the territory of one or both countries which signed the agreement. Besides the pension, Moldovan citizens will be insured and may rely on disability pension and incapacity allowance. If a citizen has worked in both countries, the pension will be calculated proportionate to the insurance period on the basis of each local legislation in part.
