JAPAN HELPS EQUIPPING FLORESTI RAION HOSPITAL WITH NEW DEVICES
Modern medical equipment, purchased by the Floresti raion hospital with the support of Japan is very efficient and allows to considerably improve the quality of services, provided to the population, said the hospital Director Valeriu Nichiforciuc at the Thursday's ceremony dedicated to the project completion.
He told to Infotag correspondent that the Japanese grant, provided by means of the Kusanone Program in 2014 went to purchasing of a set of medical devices for diagnosing and other procedures.
The director demonstrated to Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Moldova Masanobu Yoshii, who attended the ceremony, stressing that the using of the new equipment allowed to improve patient diagnosing.
The Japanese Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the medical institution's activities, adding that his country will continue supporting the modernization of the Moldovan healthcare system.
Infotag's dossier: The Kusanone project of grant assistance for human security was launched in Moldova in 2008. By 2017, 38 projects in the field of education, healthcare, ecology worth US$3.3 million have been implemented within its framework in Moldova.
