ANSA TO CHECK QUALITY OF DAIRY PRODUCTS ION MOLDOVAN MARKET

The National Food Safety Agency decided to conduct an inspection of the quality of dairy products on the Moldovan market due to the appearance of information that a number of products almost do not contain animal fats, these being substituted with vegetable fats. Moreover, this was not mentioned on the packaging.

The Agency approved a list of actions for clarifying the situation with companies, in whose produce discrepancies were identified, as well as for preventing the coming of poor-quality products in trade networks without preliminary checking.

At the same time, it was decided to check at the border checkpoints all the lots of dairy products, imported in Moldova.

After getting the results of laboratory analysis, a sitting will be conducted with participation of representatives of ministries, state departments, profile associations and laboratory representatives. At the sitting, the ANSA will present the report on measures, taken for ensuring quality of dairy products in 2017, as well as will present a plan for 2018.
