MOLDOVAN CITIZENS MAY EVALUATE QUALITY OF CNAS SERVICES

Citizens of Chisinau, Ialoveni, Floresti, Balti, Cahul and Comrat will have the opportunity to contribute with feedback and recommendations regarding the quality of public services provided by the National Social Insurance Fund by using feedback and evaluation devices placed in several NCSI offices.

The application was launched on Thursday and will be working in pilot regime for a period of 3 months.

“People will provide feedback and suggestions with respect to the accessibility of the information received, the staff amiability and the conditions of service. The recommendations and suggestions collected from beneficiaries will be thoroughly analysed and integrated into the operating procedures of the CNAS offices, while the collected data, feedback from citizens, and the actions undertaken by the CNAS will be displayed on LED screens within the eight CNAS offices undergoing the prototyping”, said Natalia Smundeac, Chief of Strategic Planning and Analysis Direction within CNAS.

The application was developed by the Moldova Social Innovation Laboratory – the MiLab and the Moldovan Government.

Dmitri Belan, Research Officer and Service Designer at MiLab said that following the successful prototyping of the instrument, the next phase will comprise in its integration into all the public institutions which deliver services to citizens.

“The experiment is aimed at using the suggestions and recommendations provided by citizens to adjust the way public services are delivered, in order to meet the expectations and needs of citizens”, he said.

The application testing is conducted with the support of the United Nations Development Program and the Slovak Government.
