PSRM CANDIDATE FOR CHISINAU MAYOR PROMISES TO ALLOCATE OVER 25 THOUSAND LEI FOR CITY SUBURB DEVELOPMENT

Candidate for Chisinau mayor of the Party of Socialists (PSRM) Ion Ceban promised to allocate over 25 million lei for development of city suburban communities in case he wins at May 20 elections.

At a press conference on Thursday he said that the development of Chisinau suburbs has a priority place in his strategy of city development, the PSRM is in permanent contact with suburb citizens and supports programs on developing localities in Chisinau neighborhood.

“The main attention will be given to educational, sport and cultural objects, as well as to improvement of the quality of water supply services. Thus, 4 million lei will be allocated on projecting and building water supply and sanitation systems in Budesti – 2.2 million lei, 2.3 million lei to repairing stadium in Cricova, 7 million lei – to repairing kindergartens in Bacioi, Singera, Stauceni and Colonita, 1.5 million lei – to installing heating system in Vatra gymnasium, 3 million lei – to installing water supply and sanitation system in Vaduleni”, the Socialist said.

According to him, in 2019 there are more massive projects to be implemented – 8 million lei to building of sanitation system in Cricova, 15 million lei – in Truseni, 24 million lei – to building of 13.8 km of Chisinau-Scoreni road.

“The PSRM will continue active consultations with suburban community mayors while the project financing will be implemented due to the municipal budget and rich investment potential Chisinau has”, Ceban said.
