GOVERNMENT EXPECTS TO PROVIDE 3 THOUSAND APARTMENTS WITHIN "PRIMA CASA" STATE PROGRAM IN 2019

In 2018, more than 1 thousand young families have took advantage of the preferential lending under the state program "Prima Casa", reported Prime Minister Pavel Filip at the Wednesday's meeting.

He acknowledged the positive work of all involved in the practical realization of the program, banks in particular.

The Premier stressed that in 2019 more than 3 thousand young families will be able to use this program. This state program was launched on March 26. 2018; during this period of time, 1004 representatives of the country's youth bought apartments within the program.

The Government meeting participants noted that the banks provided 4765 million lei for the purchase of these apartments, while the amount of guaranties for these loans is almost 238 million lei. The "Prima Casa" state program is most actively implemented in the cities of Chisinau, Balti and Cahul.
