MOLDOVANS MAY MONITOR THEIR INDIVIDUAL SOCIAL INSURANCE ACCOUNTS

09 april, 2019

Each employed Moldovan citizen may check the state of things on his individual account of social insurance.

Head of the National Social Insurance Fund (CNAS) Department for Information and Media Valentina Fedoseenco, regardless of the field of activity the person is working in, no matter if he officially works in one organization or in several places, the entire information about social insurance contributions is accumulated in the State register of individual records in the social insurance system since January 1, 1999.

This register is administrated by the CNAS. These data represent a basis for appointing future pension and other social payments.

“To get access to one’s personal data, the insured person has to apply to the territorial CNAS office and get a login and a password for accessing the ACCES CPAS informational system”, Fedoseenco explained.

According to her, the statement on receiving, replacing or restoring the password of access to the current account in the ACCES CPAS may also be submitted by e-mail: cpas@cnas.gov.md.

“The application should mandatorily include the contract telephone of the applicant, as each insured person is getting the password directly. So far, over 50 thousand users received passwords of access to their individual accounts of social insurance”, she said.

The system may be acceded via any computer, connected to internet, on the website www.cnas.md by pressing the ACCES CPAS banner. The webpage gives the possibility to view and print the internet from one’s own individual account for the entire period of official labor activity after January 1, 2019.

The data on the current account are updated monthly. The information in the registry is confidential, thus the interaction between the ACCES CPAS system and the user is protected by a number of normative provisions of informational security.

“The CNAS calls on citizens not to remain indifferent to their future, but to periodically check their personal social insurance account”, concluded Valentina Fedosenco.
