ALMOST ONE-THIRD OF MOLDOVANS SUPPORT PSRM-DP COALITION - POLL

Around 31% of Moldovan citizens support the creation of a ruling coalition between the Party of Socialists and the Democratic Party, show the results of an opinion poll, conducted by the Institute of Marketing and Surveys (IMAS) at the request of the DP.

20% of respondents stand for the coalition between the PSRM and the ACUM political bloc, 10% - DP and ACUM, 24% want early elections. 15% more have not yet made up their minds. The poll does not provide the variant of coalition with the Ilan Shor Party, which got 7 mandates in the Parliament.

Around 68% respondents stated they do not want early elections, while 30% - support the idea of the repeated voting. According to 52% interviewees, the results of early elections will differ from those, expressed on February 24.

Had the early parliamentary elections taken place in Moldova next Sunday, 30.1% people would have voted for the PSRM, 23.4% - for the ACUM bloc, 23.2% - for the DP, 5.3% – the Ilan Shor Party, 2.3% – the Communist Party, 1.1% – the Partidul Nostru. Around 4% said they would have ignored the voting, while 9.7% have not yet made up their minds.

The opinion poll was carried out among 1110 Moldovans on March 17 through April 5. The pollsters are saying that error should not exceed ±3%.
