CREDIT ISSUED TO ZINAIDA GRECEANII’S HUSBAND WAS A PART OF THE STOLEN BILLION – ILAN SHOR

26 september, 2019

“The stolen billion includes the credit of 40 million lei, issued in 2008 to the company Alsvit Vin owned by Alexei Greceanii – husband of the incumbent Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament”, MP Ilan Shor, declared internationally wanted and sentenced in Moldova for financial machinations, wrote on his Facebook page on Wednesday.

He wrote that at the moment of issuing the credit Zinaida Greceanii was holding the post of Prime Minister.

“For sure the order on issuing the credit came from her personally. We have all documents that confirm the fact that this company belongs to Alexei Greceanii. I, as ex-Chairman of the Banca de Economii board, confirm that I saw all these documents in original and they are authentic”, the politician wrote.

Shor wondered why the Prosecutor General’s Office (PGO), the parliamentary investigative commission are not investigating this obvious fact of stealing money from the bank and promised that on September 28, MPs of the Shor Party will submit two addresses.
“One will be sent to the PGO, the other – to the ad-hoc parliamentary commission. We demand explanations about the measures taken on this case. Why neither Greceanii nor his spouse was interrogated? I hope that the fact of stealing 40 million lei by Greceanii family from Banca de Economii will be proven and disclosed”, Shor said.

Earlier, it was said in this connection that the getting of the credit by this company was not included in the investigation because the credit was issued several years before the beginning of withdrawing funds from the bank. The report of the Kroll company, which was studying the circumstances of the one-billion-dollar bank fraud, covers the period of 2012-2014.
