HEALTH MINISTER REPORTS CORONAVIRUS NEWS: +35 = 298

Last 24 hours, Moldova registered 35 new instances of coronavirus infection, Viorica Dumbraveanu stated to the press on Monday evening, following a daily meeting of the National Commission for Emergency Situations.

“On Monday, we have processed 169 tests, of which 35 turned out to be positive. The coronavirus incidence in Moldova has thus reached 298 cases”, said the Minister.

According to her, out of the 35 cases, 29 are instance of CoV infection caught inside the republic. The rest 6 cases have been confirmed with Moldova citizens who returned home a few days ago – three from Romania, two from Great Britain and one from Belarus.

“The day brought also a good news: two minors have been discharged from the Chisinau Municipal Children’s Clinical Infectious Hospital upon recovery from coronavirus. The total number of such healed ex-patients has thus reached 15. And the rest 281 patients are remaining in hospitals”, said Minister Viorica Dumbraveanu.
