NEW DAY BRINGS NEW 91 CORONAVIRUS CASES AND ONE MORE DEATH – HEALTH MINISTER

Last 24 hours, 91 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in Moldova, and one person died, Minister of Health, Labor and Social Protection Viorica Dumbraveanu stated to the press following a daily working meeting of the Crisis Unit.

“During the past day, we processed 610 tests, of which 91 gave positive results. Of the latest new cases, three were brought here by Moldova citizens who had returned from foreign countries, and in 88 cases the infection was caught inside the republic. Unfortunately, we have registered one more death – of a 54-year-old woman hospitalized in a grave condition a few days ago”, the Minister said.

With an account of the latest data, the number of infected citizens has reached 1056 persons, of deaths – 22, and of fully recovered patients – 40.
