COVID-19 MORBIDITY EXCEEDS 8 THOUSAND IN MOLDOVA – MoH

The number of people infected with COVID-19 since the pandemic beginning has reached 8098 in Moldova, though more than a half of them have recovered by now, the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection reported on Monday morning.

According to it, last Saturday the Moldovan laboratories carried out 1539 tests and on Sunday – 804. The weekend brought 355 positive analysis results, and over 300 patients were discharged from hospitals, thus bringing the total figure of recoveries to 4581.

But 295 people died, reported the Ministry.
