MOLDOVA TO RESUME PASSENGER FLIGHTS FROM JUNE 15

04 june, 2020

The Moldovan civil aviation will resume regular passenger flights and charter flights from June 15, the National Commission for Emergency Situations decided at its sitting on Wednesday evening.

According to this decision, the Chisinau International Airport must ensure measures to prevent the COVID-19 spread with respect to passengers and personnel in the Arrivals and Departures sections.

The airport administration must organize the taking of temperature with all people, ensure protective screens and face masks, other means of personal hygiene, disinfectants etc., the Commission wrote in its Resolution.

For the beginning, flights will be made only to those countries, which have re-opened their air communication with Moldova. International flights from/to the Chisinau International Airport were suspended last March 16, when a state of emergency was announced in the republic.
