504 MIA OFFICERS GET SICK WITH CORONAVIRUS, 425 OF THEM GET RECOVERED - STATE SECRETARY OF MIA

In Moldova, 504 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs fell ill with coronavirus, of which 425 were cured. State Secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Sergei Golovaci announced this at a briefing.

“Currently, there are 79 active cases of coronavirus among the employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The vast majority are asymptomatic cases or a mild form of the disease. Two people are in a state of moderate severity, one is in a serious condition, hospitalized in the Republican Clinical Hospital, "Golovaci said.

According to him, last week, every day from eight to ten thousand police officers were involved in monitoring the situation to comply with measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus. They also monitored compliance with the self-isolation regime, which was attended by 30 thousand people.

“344 violations were recorded. Of these, 92 relate to violations of the self-isolation regime, 76 violations are committed by citizens in recreation areas. We are talking about crowding of people, violation of social distance and wearing masks,” said the representative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
