MOLDOVA RECORDS 501 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION, 13 PEOPLE MORE DIE - MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Over the past day, 501 new cases of coronavirus infection have been registered in Moldova, 13 people more have died. This was reported on Tuesday evening by the press service of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection.

"On Tuesday, 2513 tests were processed, including 2297 primary tests. It turned out that 501 results were positive. Thus, the total number of recorded cases of COVID-19 in our country consists in 40 556," the message says.

According to the report, 384 patients who recovered from the coronavirus have been discharged from medical institutions in the country. Thus, in total, 28,962 people were cured of the coronavirus. At the same time, the death of another 13 people diagnosed with coronavirus was registered. The total number of deaths is 1087 people.

There are currently 10,507 active cases of COVID-19 in Moldova. The republic ranks first in Europe in terms of the number of active cases per 100 thousand of population.
