MOLDOVA RECORDS 588 NEW CASES OF CORONAVIRUS INFECTION OVER LAST DAY - MINISTRY OF HEALTH

Over the past day, 588 new cases of COVID-19 infection have been registered in Moldova, 9 more people have died. State Secretary of the Ministry of Health Constantin Rimis announced this at a briefing on Wednesday evening.

"On Wednesday, 2982 tests were processed. Of these, 588 were positive. The total number of cases recorded in the republic has reached 41,144," Rimis said.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, 29 420 people have been cured, 1096 have died.
