THURSDAY MARKS DEADLINE FOR SUBMITTING APPLICATIONS FOR VOTING AT ONE’S ACTUAL PLACE OF STAYING

On Thursday evening, the time is expiring for submitting applications to notify electoral authorities about where a person is going to be on July 11 to thus have the possibility to vote there.

The Central Election Commission has reminded that if a person wants to vote at a polling station differing from his permanent residence place, the voter must submit an application to the public governance organ of the locality where he or she wishes to vote.

This procedure permits the voter to be included into the main voter register at a corresponding polling station and to vote there. Applications submitted for previous elections have lost their legal force.
