​ANRE AGAIN CALLS ON "SOME JOURNALISTS AND EXPERTS TO AVOID FALSE AND SLAVERY STATEMENTS"

The National Energy Regulatory Agency (ANRE) has once again called on media representatives and some "experts" to "refrain from false, unreasoned, slanderous and defamatory statements about the institution."

The Agency expressed regret in its statement about the next attempts to involve it in “political games and debates”.

ANRE categorically denied the statement of the expert Veaceslav Ionita, who said in one of the TV programs that the new amendments to the Law on the Oil Products Market "were developed in the interests of one of the oil companies in order to discredit the current government."

According to ANRE, "proposals for amendments to the law were prepared by the agency's team without any interference from market participants."

Based on this, ANRE called on the Information and Security Service and the National Anti-Corruption Center "to check in detail the information disseminated in the public space and identify the real beneficiaries of these lynching in the media promoted by Veaceslav Ionita."
