55 MODERN VIDEO CAMERAS PURCHASED FOR MOLDOVAN BORDER POLICE WITH JAPAN’S ASSISTANCE

For the means of the Government of Japan, 55 modern video surveillance cameras were purchased for the needs of the Border Police of Moldova and distributed among subdivisions, Border Police Director Rosian Vasiloi announced in social networks on Wednesday.

According to him, the aid became possibility thanks to the International Organization for Migration within the framework of the project “Emergency Grants for Humanitarian Aid to Ukraine and the Near-Abroad Countries”. The cost of the acquired equipment is over $17.9 thousand.

According to Rosian Vasiloi, the modern means of border control will help identify vulnerabilities, which is especially important in the context of the hostilities in neighboring Ukraine.
