DOSTA! CAMPAIGN POSTER COMPETITION

DOSTA! CAMPAIGN POSTER COMPETITION

The Dosta! campaign Poster Award recognise creative and innovative initiatives of Associations, Art Academies, Schools, Artists and Amateurs to break down deep-rooted stereotypes and prejudices towards Roma.
Set your mind in motion and make a creative poster for diversity, against discrimination.
 
The Poster competition aims at promoting successful Posters, by giving visibility to the work of the selected participants as well as to present it as example of good practice.

A jury composed of Council of Europe/European Commission and Roma experts in the field will select the best photos. Contributions will be judged according to their creativity and originality, as well as their capacity to convey the Dosta! campaign messages.

Theme
Participants are asked to create a posters that promotes the main Dosta! campaign messages: Go beyond prejudice, discover the Roma!

Eligibility
The competition is open to individuals born or resident in Moldova or Ukraine, as well as to associations, art academies, schools from Moldova or Ukraine.


Awards
The jury will award the following cash prizes for the best three posters:

First prize:         1000 euros
Second prize:     600 euros
Third prize:         300 euros

Other selected posters will be published on the Dosta! campaign website.


Poster Requirements

The submitted Posters have to fulfil the following criteria:
•    Raising public awareness on Roma rights and culture, to fight against the stereotypes and prejudices toward Roma;
•    Posters must be submitted digitally either by post on CD ROM.
•    Posters must be submitted in printable A3 PDF format: the winners will be reproduced as A2 posters (professional format will have to be sent accordingly)
•    No copyrighted material may be used for the design
•    No original photo material may be used for the poster design without the written consent of the parties depicted
•    Creators must attach a written guarantee that use by the Council of Europe of the submitted photos will not infringe the rights of third parties.

CD-ROMs should include your full name and contact details on the cover and be sent with  the completed entry form to the following address :
