At the initiative of Commercial Bank „VICTORIABANK” Chairman of the Board, Mr. Vladimir Plahotniuc, the Board of Directors of Commercial Bank “Victoriabank” decided to launch a scholarship programme, aimed at students graduating in 2011. This programme will select 100 best students from the Technical University of Moldova, Academy for Economic Studies of Moldova and Moldovan State University. The students will be selected on competetition basis and will benefit of a monthly scholarship for the year 2010-2011. After graduation, the students will be supported in their further job employment.
CB „VICTORIABANK” SA took this decision in the context of its Corporate Social Responsibility programme with the purpose of promoting and stimulating future specialists in different areas in the Republic of Moldova. The competition does not resume to granting the scholarships to graduating students, the final purpose of the given programme is to grant support to young specialists in their further employment.
CB “VICTORIABANK” SA offers two types of scholarships, with a total annual value of MDL 650 000 :
- merit scholarships
- social scolarships
Eligibility criteria:
The following students are eligible for this scholarship programme: students who completed the Tuition Program and have an average of 9.5 for the merit scholarships, and an average of at least 8 for social scholarships (orphan students).
The list of participants in the competition will be presented to the Senate of all three institutions and based on this list the beneficiaries will be selected.
