YOUR e-GOVERNMENT: 24-hour Public Services and Open Data for the Citizens’ benefit
On February 1, the e-Government Center in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Moldova launches the campaign to inform and educate the public on electronic governance (e-Government). This process represents the digital interaction between authorities and citizens, services, data and public information closer to people, a transparent, efficient and fast Government.
The objectives of the campaign are to promote e-Government and e-Transformation concepts and products arising from these processes.
“e-Government is not an option anymore. It is the chance of a government to keep pace with modern life and meet the citizens’ needs. The campaign we launch is supported by media institutions from the country for free distribution of video and audio materials in support of public education and familiarization with e-Government”, stated Stela Mocan, Executive Director of the e-Government Center.
The information and education campaign will be carried out in three stages throughout 2012. It will include a number of written materials, video and audio spots, as well as informational messages broadcasted on TV and radio channels. Materials will introduce and explain such concepts as e-Services, Open Data, Open Data applications, Cloud Computing, single Portal of public services and others.
“Your e-Government" is the slogan of the communication campaign on e-Government.
