04 june, 2018

Their strength is to create music and make it vibrate in unique architectural structures – mansions, museums, castles. Our strength is to bring them to the Republic of Moldova for giving an exclusive concert for clients and invitees of Mobiasbanca.

On 31 May, Mobiasbanca invited its clients to a premiere for the Republic of Moldova – European concert ‚Rhapsodies in stone’ performed by SoNoRo Conac band and organized at Castel Mimi, an architectural monument of national importance and a viticultural center founded by Constantin Mimi, the last governor of Bessarabia, until the Union of 1918, and then the director of the Romanian National Bank.

The concert with the works of George Enescu, Eugène Ysaÿe, Johan Halvorsen and Ludwig van Beethoven, performed by the artists Rosanne Philippens (violin), Tatiana Samouil (violin), Razvan Popovici (viol) and Justus Grimm (cello) made the bohemian atmosphere of the Mimi castle era penetrate the sound of classical music and result in a unique artistic harmony.

"We are delighted to celebrate with our partners and clients our common successes, the long-lasting partnership, and the atmosphere of this special place with eternal music to inspire new ideas and business development plans", said Antoine Gabizon, President of the Management Board – CEO Mobiasbanca.

“This year, our approach joins a European-wide initiative, one of celebration of the European Cultural Heritage. We are glad to be able to contribute to the integration of the Romanian cultural heritage into the European one”, Razvan Popovici, initiator of SoNoRo Conac and director of the SoNoRo Music Chamber Festival, says.

‚Rhapsodies in stone’is a tribute to the architectural diversity and complexity, and also tribute paid by Mobiasbanca to national art and heritage.
