STRENGTHEN STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN EBRD AND MOBIASBANCA

The further consolidation of the good cooperation between Mobiasbanca and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the extension of joint projects and the diversification of financing products have been discussed at the meeting of the bank's top management with the EBRD officials, on Thursday, October 25.

EBRD Delegation, represented by Vice President Alain Pilloux, who is on an official visit to our country, and Angela Sax, Head of EBRD in Moldova, presented to the bank's management the new Managing Director for Eastern Europe and the Caucasus, Matteo Patrone. During the meeting, officials expressed their satisfaction with the smooth running of funding programs and long-term partnership with Mobiasbanca.

The management of Mobiasbanca has appreciated the advantageous financing opportunities offered to the bank's clients, including with the EU support, and the EBRD’s role in the development of local businesses.

EBRD credit lines aim to help small businesses in Moldova to upgrade their operations to EU standards, boosting their competitiveness on European markets. Mobiasbanca was the first Moldovan lender to join the EU4Business-EBRD Credit Line.
