​TRANSNISTRIAN BANK ISSUES NEW COMMEMORATIVE COIN

The Transnistrian central bank (PRB) has put into circulation the commemorative coin “May you live happily ever after!” with nominal value of 20 rubles (US$1.7) on Tuesday. It is made of silver, has a diameter of 39 mm, weight – 31.1 grams, circulation – 1 thousand coins. The coin resembles with medals, awarded at wedding ceremonies in Soviet times. In particular, on the reverse of the coin there is a picture of two pigeons holding a ribbon with two wedding rings. Also, the PRB put into circulation an additional issue of the coin “Dubasari Cathedral”, which was coined on April 14. The first issue of this coin was made of silver and its circulation was of only 250 coins. The second issue is made of steel with nichel coating and circulation of 50 thousand coins.
