INTERNATIONAL ASSEMBLY OF CAPITALS AND MAJOR CITIES WILL HOLD CONFERENCE IN TIRASPOL

The Secretariat of the International Assembly of Capital and Major Cities started the preparation for an International Conference, which will take place on October 13 in the capital city of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan republic (PMR) – Tiraspol.

According to the organization’s website, the topic of the conference is “Partnership between authorities and business – basis of municipal politics”. Within the conference, a roundtable of the Association with the topic “Problems and experience of developing donor blood circulation in megalopolis” (within the program “Safe City”) will take place.

Also, the Association delegation will attend festivities dedicated to the 225th anniversary of Tiraspol and the city’s Temple Day, which will be held on weekend – October 14-15.

Infotag’s dossier: The International Assembly of Capital and Major Cities is a public noncommercial union, founded on September 3, 1998 for contributing to trade and economic, scientific and technical and cultural development and cooperation between cities, regions, countries. Currently, the Association includes 87 cities from nine CIS countries. Among them there are no other Moldovan cities, except Tiraspol.
