RUSSIAN MILITARY TO GIVE DEMONSTRATIVE LESSONS FOR TRANSNISTRIAN TEENAGERS

19 april, 2018

The servicemen of the Operative Group of Russian Troops (OGRV) deployed in Transnistria will shortly organize 'demonstrative lessons' for local senior schoolchildren "within the framework of the military-and-patriotic upbringing of the young generation" practiced in the region.

In particular, at the OGRV shooting range the Russian military will demonstrate to local teenagers the soldiers' professional skills in shooting practices, in tactical and combat-engineering preparedness, as well as techniques of the radioactive, chemical and biological defense.

Besides this, the Russian military regularly organize in Transnistria lessons of courage and stoicism, excursions to the OGRV Museum of military glory, exhibitions of military equipment and other undertakings.

Presently, the armed formations of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan Republic (PMR) are holding rehearsals of the military parade to be held in Tiraspol on the occasion of the Victory Day of May 9. The parade will involve also one hundred OGRV soldiers and officers. The Moldovan government constantly protests against the joint actions of the OGRV and the illegitimate PMR armed formations, but Russia would not react to such statements in any way.
