IT IS TIME TO MOVE TO DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM FROM SURVIVING PROGRAM - TIRASPOL LEADER

President of the unrecognized Transnistrian Moldovan republic (PMR) Vadim Krasnoselsky maintains that Transnistria has to proceed to a program of development from the current program of surviving and reanimation.

According to the Tiraspol leader website, he stated about this at the Thursday's extended government sitting, setting to the cabinet of ministers a goal to develop a state program of PMR development for the next 8 years - 2019-2026.

"After 1.5 years of surviving, reanimation of the situation, today we can talk about a trend to increase economic indexes, growth of industrial production, tax stabilization, investment climate improvement, as well as perspectives of development, which should be reflected in the program document", the Tiraspol leader said.

Krasnoselsky called on all the bodies of power and the society to actively join the work on preparing this document, to present proposals within 10 days, which will later be analyzed, assessed and, in case of total support, included in the draft state program.

"The political stability, economic self-sufficiency and social justice should become three foundations of the program for the next eight years. It is both about internal and external stability, moreover the counteraction to challenges and threats from outside is possible only in case of consolidating internal forces. Only the stable, self-sufficient and strong can get recognition. The weak disappear. If we want to preserve our independence, if we tend to the recognition of our statehood, we have to preserve solidarity, to be strong and self-sufficient", Krasnoselsky stressed.

The draft program should be ready by September 2. By December, it is planned to develop a mechanism for its implementation, in order that in the new year to start working on legislative and legal accompaniment of the program document.
