EXPORT DECLARATIONS TO BE TRANSFERRED INTO ELECTRONIC FORM IN TRANSNISTRIA

11 octomber, 2018

Starting from January 1, 2019, the declarations of exports in Transnistria will be implemented exclusively in the electronic form for reducing paper document turnover, for acceleration of customs transactions, minimization of the subjective factor, as well as lowering the costs of foreign trade participants, connected with the cargo declaring.

This is implied in a corresponding order of the leadership of the PMR customs committee, which regulates the order of electronic declaration. The order establishes the procedure and conditions of customs declaration of goods in electronic form, as well as the peculiarities of conducting customs transactions at declaring and issuing of goods.

Initially, the electronic declaring will be applied in relation to goods, transported by Transnistrian legal persons in accordance with the export customs procedure. Later, this technology, the implementation of which is a part of international customs standards, will be applied to other customs procedures as well.

Before the end of 2018 a testing period is valid, when exporting enterprises can try the system of electronic declaration in action. This time is designed to practice working with the software and the mutual regulation of all the technical issues that may appear in the process of interaction between customs bodies and enterprises at the customs clearance of the exported goods.
